DAF11CS DAF 105 (SS) Curtainside - Bentons
Our livery on the DAF 105 Super Space Cab represents a special paint job, which Bentons used on their tractor units to celebrate their centenary in 2008. The striking silver and maroon livery is a distinctive contrast from the trailer, which remained in their standard colours.
John William Benton founded the haulage company in 1908 in Lincolnshire, engaged primarily in agricultural and general haulage. His three sons incorporated the company in 1954, following which further expansion saw the company acquiring a 25-acre site at nearby Sibsey in 1968. Steady growth continued into the Millennium with a further move to Immingham and the acquisition of more land in Killingholme in 2003. Today, Benton Brothers (Transport) Ltd employs over 150 personnel at two sites, with 120 tractive units and 250 trailers of all types, enabling them to operate internationally as well as in the home market. The vehicles are all painted in the Company's original livery.
